One original lesson from the paid course. Demonstration examples are illustrative, not customer results.
Selected from the original lesson
Validation is ten conversations.
“Before you record a single lesson, find out whether anybody wants this. Not because your idea is bad — because a week of asking saves a month of building the wrong thing.”
01
Talk to potential buyers
Find ten people in the actual situation you want to help. Don’t substitute friends, family, or general encouragement for relevant buyer conversations.
02
Ask, then listen
Ask what they have already tried, what it cost in time or money, and what a desired result would be worth. Listen without pitching or promising a result.
03
Keep their exact words
“Write down their exact words. Not your summary of their words.” Capture the problem and evidence of previous spending, not just enthusiasm.
Six clear problems. Three previous spenders.
Of ten conversations, look for at least six people describing the problem without prompting and at least three who have already spent money trying to solve it. If the evidence is weak, narrow the niche or reassess the idea. These are course heuristics — not statistical proof, a guarantee of demand, or a promise of sales.
Set a deadline. The original lesson suggests two to four days for this exercise. Write your decision and date it.
Your practical exercise

Keep gathering evidence
Record a verbatim quote for each of the ten conversations before making your decision. These are course heuristics, not proof of demand or guarantees of sales, income, or results.
